The Lovin' Spoonful, one of the first American groups in the 1960’s to put a damper on the British Invasion, combined the best of folk music and rock n’ roll, with a touch of country thrown in. The quartet was extremely successful with more than ten Top 20 songs. In 2000 the group was officially inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame.
